Valve for fixed fire suppression systems using inert gases, according with Directive 2014/68/EU, for use with 80L to 140L cylinders at 200 and 300 bar.
Valve designed in compliance to the guidelines of EN 12094.
Suitable for all main standard mixtures:
- IG-01 (100% Argon)
- IG-100 (100% Nitrogen)
- IG-55 (50% Argon, 50% Nitrogen)
- IG-541 (52% Nitrogen, 40% Argon, 8% CO₂)
Inert gases are naturally present in the atmosphere and have zero environmental impact. They are highly effective in fire suppression, as they reduce the oxygen concentration in the protected area below the combustion threshold (approximately 15%), rapidly extinguishing the fire without damaging the assets.
Using a gas-based suppression system is the ideal solution for environments such as data centers, server rooms, archives, and laboratories, because:
- It does not damage sensitive equipment, unlike water-based systems;
- It leaves no residue: no operational downtime and no need for cleanup after discharge;
- It ensures immediate recovery of operations after fire suppression.
