The sprinkler featuring the JOB R-Type 5 mm thermo bulb is designed for automatic fire protection systems and combines conventional thermal activation with the possibility of remote electrical activation.
The bulb can operate when the ambient temperature reaches its nominal activation temperature or be intentionally heated by an electrical signal, causing the glass bulb to burst and activating the sprinkler.
The device also incorporates a monitoring and signalling function to indicate activation. When combined with a suitable evaluation unit, this allows the activated sprinkler to be identified and the information to be used for further system actions.
Thermal activation remains available as a backup to electrical activation.
